We met hundreds of residents. The atmosphere was electric and the conversations were stimulating and fun. Our booth was well attended and we would like to thank everyone who came. Thanks to all the volunteers who make the day special.
Yonah Martin, who also attended, is our Conservative Canadian Senator from British Columbia, she lives here in Maple Ridge with her husband Doug. She was appointed by Prime Minister Stephen Harper in January 2009, and is the first Canadian of Korean descent to serve in the Senate of Canada and the first Korean-Canadian Parliamentarian in Canadian history.
