A NON PROFIT REGISTERED SOCIETY 14” ANNUAL GALA DINNER AND DANCE

On February 15 from 5:30-11 pm I attended the The Ridge Meadows South Asian Cultural Society is a local registered non-profit society that has been in existence since 2007. Their purpose is to enrich our community through diversity and inclusion.

All of their work is done by volunteers and 100% of the money they raise is donated to local charities. Over the years, they have donated approximately $150,000 in the last 14 years to organizations such as the Ridge Meadows Hospital, Cythera House, Maple Ridge Hospice, Asante Centre, Alouette Addictions ,Youth Mental Health, Local Food Banks and.

They have recently established a Scholarship program recognizing students whose aspiration and achievements align with their society.
